2012 Fairline Squadron 65
General
The 2012 Fairline Squadron 65 is an elegant 20.42-meter long flybridge motor yacht built in the United Kingdom. She is powered by 2 x Caterpillar C18 – 1 1,150 hp gives this yacht a maximum speed of 32 knots at its lightest and a cruising speed of around 23 knots. From the beginning, Fairline has built yachts with passion, designed for adventure which has contributed to the rich history of the company. The outlook appears to be a bit older then boats built in the same year due to the slightly faded gel coat and teak but is easy to fix. The engines and mechanical components all run smoothly and has been maintained under the NextWave Yacht Management on a daily basis.
Exterior
The flybridge has a U-shaped seating area, sun pads and wide walking space giving you an open area to enjoy outside without feeling constrained. She is serviced by a wet bar and grill so you’ll be having everything you need to enjoy the sun. A retractable bimini gives you shade and cover when needed. The foredeck has 2 large sunbeds with conveniently placed cup holders. Powered winch for the anchor for easier anchoring. At the stern is a hydraulic swim platform for easier water access as well as having enough space for a small tender or jet-ski to store. The cockpit has a 3 seat sofa and 2 chairs with a large dining table. The crew quarters are located below the cockpit and have its own private head.
Interior
The saloon has a 2 large U-shaped sofa for about 12 people in total. The galley is located further down and has the essentials you need, including a microwave, induction stove, sink, fridge, and hanging cabinets. The helm station has 2 large comfortable seats for the captain and skipper and has a big side-door for quick access to the side-deck when mooring. Below deck is 4-cabin configuration, VIP ensuite at the bow, a starboard guest cabin, a port guest cabin and full beam master ensuite amidship.
Broker’s Note
This boat is maintained by a professional yacht management company and everything works fine. They have a B&O audio system on board which is rare. Currently repairs are being done to the gel coat which means most of the crack and scratched will be fixed. The only thing left to fix is the teak since the teak has been worn down. The price is quite good compare to similar age and size boats. It is a good deal for customer looking to change to a bigger boat.
