2006 Sunseeker Manhattan 66

General

The 2006 Sunseeker Manhattan 66 is a 22.1-meter Flybridge Motor-yacht built in the United Kingdom.  She is powered by 2 x MAN Diesel 1,100HP engines. She has spent a lot of time on the water which inevitably shows her age.  The teak flooring is starting to get worn-out, as well as the wooden tables. With that said, she would be a fun party boat or can be used for chartering out.  She is very spacious and has plenty of accommodation, featuring 4 cabins, and 2 Heads.

Exterior

The flybridge features a very large U-shape sofa aft, with enough seating for about 8 people.  Seating is comfortable but the use of a folding table with cup holders would have been a nice touch. Facing the sofa is the Wetbar equipped with a grill, sink, a small fridge. Further forward you get 2 more seating spaces and a midsized sunbed.  The foredeck has a large simple sunbed, it is comfortable but doesn’t have any cup holders. At the stern is a hydraulic swim platform with space for a dinghy/tender or jetski. The crew quarters are accessible from the swim platform which consists of two single berths and ensuite.  The cockpit is decent looking and spacious, 3 seat sofa with a simple table and also has a small fridge for drinks.

Interior

Once you enter the saloon you will first notice a small L-shaped sofa for 3 people and the opposite side is the galley.  The galley is well equipped, having a microwave, stove, fridge and lots of hanging cabinets and drawers for storage. Further along, the saloon has 2 large round sofas facing each other with enough space for a folding or coffee table in between.  A pop-up TV is a nice touch and is located behind the portside sofa. The Master cabin is a full-beam amidship cabin with a walk-in wardrobe and head, also having a small dressing table and 2-seat sofa. The VIP cabin, located at the bow, is also spacious with lots of hanging cabinets and storage underneath the bed.

Broker’s Notes

The owner spent HKD700,000 to fix the engine since he obtained the boat and the interior is currently under renovation. Although it is a 13 year old boat, with the effort by the owner to renovate and maintained it, this price is attractive.  There are some minor defects with the wooden table and part gel coat, but it is easy to fix. Good for customer looking for a charter boat or a customer with a big family who are first time buyer.
